THE FANTASY FOREST

Antiffa Vänsterfitta, together with the underground queer avant-garde of Gothenburg, opens up their wild and verdant commons, brimming with Politics, Erotics and Death.

Callings from a polyphonic collective rise from the depths of the forest, enchanting stories of the pleasurable submission of the individual and the collapse of identity. The repressive method of placing the present in the future, calling it utopian, has long since been seen through. Straight society has been overthrown and the inner man is dead. From his compost, in the decay and humus of his body, unspeakable perversions and problematic desires take root and blossom. The moon sails over the treetops and songs of free public transport, unbound hormones and a ban on guitar men echo across the night sky.

The political turns delightfully private!
Behold an utterly feminine female tacky artistry, intrusive, intimate and boundless. Based on The Own Experience, and constantly reflecting in, of and on others until all borders are erased. The emotional spectrum is gigantic and in constant rebellion against itself and its surroundings. Unfiltered grief, joy, wrath and lust are without inhibitions projected on all surfaces of the gallery.

Together with the underground queer avant-garde of Gothenburg, Antiffa Vänsterfitta exhibits their multimedia fantasy forest for public viewing. Documentations of joy-full direct actions are mixed with porn and consciousness raising terrorist musicals. The video work spas over a decade and portray a queer community, comrades, friends and lovers, slowly growing older through the productions. The Goddess with her three aspects, Maiden, Mother, Crone, guide us through the damp underbrush.

Due to Covid-19, only ten people can stay in the gallery at the same time, so have some time set aside if it’s full when you arrive. The Butch of Butches will, however, serve coffee on the sidewalk, so it can be nice anyway.

FANTASISKOGEN

Antiffa Vänsterfitta tillsammans med Göteborgs underjordiska queer-avantgarde öppnar upp sin vildvuxna allmänning, dignande av Politik, Erotik och Döden.

Lockropen från ett mångstämmigt kollektiv stiger från skogens djup, förföriska berättelser om individens njutningsfulla underkastelse och identitetens kollaps. Den repressiva metoden att förlägga nuet till framtiden och kalla det utopiskt har för länge sedan genomskådats.
Heterosamhället har störtats i gruset och den inre mannen är död. Ur hans kompost, i förruttnelsen och myllan från hans lik gror onämnbara perversioner och problematiska begär. Månen seglar över trädtopparna och mot natthimlen ekar sånger om gratis kollektivtrafik, fria hormoner och gitarrmänsförbud.

Det politiska blir ljuvligt privat!
Beskåda ett ytterst feminint kvinnligt kladdig konstnärskap, närgånget, intimt och gränslöst. Med utgångspunkt i Den Egna Erfarenheten och med ett evigt speglande i och av andra tills konturerna helt suddats ut. Känslospektrat är gigantiskt och i ständigt uppror mot sig själv och sin omvärld. Ofiltrerad sorg, glädje, vrede och kättja projiceras ohämmat på galleriets alla ytor.

Antiffa Vänsterfitta tillsammans med Göteborgs underjordiska queer-avantgarde ställer till allmän beskådan ut sin multimedia-fantasiskog. Dokumentationer av uppsluppna direktaktioner blandas med snusk och medvetandehöjande terrormusikaler. Videoverken spänner över ett decennium och gestaltar ett queert community, kamrater, vänner och älskare, som sakta åldras genom produktionerna. Gudinnan med sina tre faser, Jungfrun, Modern och Haggan, leder oss genom den fuktiga snårskogen.
