After the films, Marit Östberg and Anna Linder will hold a discussion about queer film and queer feminist porn.
SAQMI – The Swedish Archive for Queer Moving Images invites you to the first evening of films and discussions in our beautiful little home “Frigga”. Our guest for the evening is no less than the Marit Östberg, who is coming to show her latest film “Honey and Glitter” & “When We Are Together We Can Be Everywhere”. These films are being shown for the first time in Gothenburg and Marit is coming along for the ride to explain both the films along with her work more broadly.

Honey bondage, glitter armour and the feeling of being inside a womb. Honey and Glitter is an arousing and sparkling exploration of the body and how to touch the world in a new way.
When We Are Together We Can Be Everywhere is a film with multiple layers. It is a porn film and it’s a film about making porn. It’s a film about the relations between the persons behind and in front of the camera. It is a film about friendship and sex. It is a loveletter from Marit, the director, to her star, Liz. Liz is cruising through darkrooms, toilets, wastelands and gardens. Berlin is the stage, used as a playground and a projection of their longings. When We Are Together We Can Be Everywhere is a feature porn documentary. The project was born through a cooperation between the director Marit Östberg and starring Liz Rosenfeld to explore porn through a contract of nearness and liaison.
Marit Östberg is a filmmaker and visual artist. She makes music videos and works as a VJ. Since debuting as a porn film director in the feminist porn compilation Dirty Diaries, Östberg continues to investigate portrayals of sex and sexuality on screen. For the last 10 years her work has been shown at festivals all over the world – New York, Hong Kong, Taipei, Berlin, Osaka, Bern, Mexico City, Rom, London, Sarajevo, Stockholm, Amsterdam and many other places.

The space “Frigga” is small so come in time to be sure to get a space. We think the films and talk will take around two hours all together.
ACCESSIBILITY – FRIGGA:
The programme is taking place on the ground floor, however there are a few steps and small doorways. The smallest door is 77cm. There is audio amplification but no hearing loop.

SAQMI – The Swedish Archive for Queer Moving Images bjuder in dig till den första kvällen med filmvisning och samtal i vårt fina hus “Frigga”. Gästen är ingen mindre än Marit Östberg som kommer att visa sin senaste film “Honey and Glitter” + “When We Are Together We Can Be Everywhere”. Filmerna visas för första gången i Göteborg och Marit kommer att vara på plats och berätta om sitt arbete och sina filmer.

Det är fri entré och om du vill lägga en slant till verksamheten kan du göra det på plats. Stugan Frigga är liten så kom i tid. Vi har inte satt ut någon sluttid men beräknar att filmerna och samtalet pågår i ca 2 timmar.
TILLGÄNGLIGHET – FRIGGA:
Programmet är på bottenvåningen, dock finns det mycket trösklar och smala dörröppningar. Den smalaste dörren in är 77 cm. Ljudförstärkning finns, dock inte hörselslinga.
